Translation
Never seen before, blessed one,
the wife of some great-souled man,
like Shri, in her bewilderment,
cries out with broken voice.
लीला
भगवन्! किसी महात्मा की पत्नी हैं, पहले कभी नहीं देखीं। लक्ष्मी जैसी। और रो रही हैं... बेसुध, टूटी आवाज़ में।
Subtitle
Blessed one! Some great man's wife,
never seen before, like Shri herself,
is crying out, lost,
her voice all broken.

anarhā duḥkhaśokābhyām ekāṃ dīnāṃ hy anāthavat
Translation
On the river’s bank, blessed one,
some noble lady, sorrowing,
unworthy of grief and sorrow,
alone, forlorn, as one with none.
लीला
नदी किनारे बैठी हैं, भगवन्... अकेली। ऐसा दुख उन्हें नहीं मिलना चाहिए।
Subtitle
She is by the river,
all alone.
She doesn't deserve
such sorrow.

हमें नहीं लगता, वे मनुष्य हैं। उनका सत्कार होना चाहिए।

मेरे आश्रम के पास ही तपस्विनियाँ रहती हैं, तप में अडिग। वे तुम्हें सदा ऐसे सँभालेंगी, बेटी, जैसे अपने बछड़े को।
