Translation
“As I was stolen by a trick
from the forest, by the rakshasa,
for fear of that hero,
so Raghava must not take me.
But thronging Lanka with his armies,
the crusher of hostile hosts,
if Kakutstha should lead me home,
that would be worthy of him.”

वह राक्षस उस वीर के डर से मुझे छल से वन से हर लाया। राघव मुझे वैसे न ले जाएँ। वे अपनी सेनाओं से लंका को भर दें, और तब मुझे ले जाएँ। यही उनके योग्य है।
