Valmiki · Sundara Kanda
5.65.1–5.68.29 (CrEd 5.63.1–5.66.29)

The vanaras come back to Prasravana and tell Rama Sita's news, and Hanuman gives him the crest-jewel she sent. Rama lays it on his heart and weeps, and asks what she said. Hanuman tells him the token of the crow at Chitrakuta, her plea that Rama win her with his armies, her doubt about crossing the sea, and how he comforted her.
